St Louis Family Photographer, New Town St Charles Photographer

One of the MOST rewarding aspects of my job being a St Louis family photographer is getting to see the most little clients, (who I photograph within two weeks of birth), come back for another session before their first birthday.  That stage BETWEEN the infant stage and age one where they start to walk is my most absolute fave, and is also truly the best time for baby photographs…approximately 6-9 months of age.  The time passes by quick and the babies change so incredibly much in that time frame.  It was my honor to photograph little Ashton as a newborn in the studio in Wentzville and then again last week for his 9 month milestone photos.

The temps were a bit high, but we went ahead to avoid another rained out session date!  I really do love late summer evening sessions, because the weather is generally pretty amazing!  Ashton’s parents live in New Town, where the possibilities for varying backgrounds abounds.  It is the best of both worlds there: urban backdrops with many textures amongst beautiful park like greenery settings too!  I was excited to shoot there and look forward to going back in the future.

Ashton started his session a bit stingy with his smiles, but soon enough he began to give them up generously.  His moms got into some photographs too, and we were able to catch some really sweet moments and some giggly ones too.
