Meet the gorgeous Miss Lillian Harper (I LOVE her name)! Lillian was born on September 29th, 2013, weighing in at 6lbs, 7 oz. She was 7 days new at the time of her session.

Miss Lily generously graced me with a couple of big smiles during her session, which I love to be able to catch. She was a pro at the froggy pose, and she even rocked a difficult school desk shot, where she happily crossed her legs at her ankles for the perfect pose! (Don’t worry safety is always first; my assistant had a hand on her at all times). Lily’s Momma is a school teacher, so when I found that doll desk in a local resale shop, I knew it would be perfect. I had no idea then that I would have a streak of Mommas of newborns that are school teachers!

Lily slept perfectly for her session…so much so that I nicknamed her Sleeping Beauty 😉 If you know about newborn photography, a perfectly sleeping newborn is a God-send to a photographer! They are easier to pose and move without disturbing them. We were able to get several prop shots and blanket shots, as well as some gorgeous parent and family images. I have an abundance of favorites from her session, so please excuse the overload!
